Locally sourced angular stone/clean for base material. Crushed granite, crushed concrete, limestone rock, and crushed lava are some of the acceptable materials. Rounded uncrushed river gravel is unsuitable.

• Base Course: Aggregate shall be a hard crushed angular product that provides a degree of interlock between adjacent stones. Self-compacting aggregate blend of hard, clean, angular, and open-graded (uniform size) drain rock -- from 19 – 25mm.
  A gravel/sandy soil mix (60/40) is suggested for grass fill applications.
• Gravel Fill: Obtain clean, washed angular rock to fill the 48.5mm-tall TRUEGRID PRO PLUS cells and spaces between. TRUEGRID PRO PLUS can be filled to top of cells and exposed or overfilled to hide cells. Fill rock aggregate shall be a hard crushed angular product that provides a degree of interlock between adjacent stone and can be 10mm to 20mm in diameter.
  TRUEGRID may be cut by angle grinder or circular saw to fit shapes as required.
